Numerous individuals are acquainted with a family member, friend, or co-worker who has undergone a negative experience with a home remodel or new build. The accounts of such experiences are innumerable. What if one possessed the knowledge to circumvent such issues?

This book is a culmination of my 30-plus-year career, during which I have attempted to educate clients on the must-haves for a successful home build. Clients engage my services for my recommendations, professionalism, and talent. Convincing clients of the necessities to avoid construction nightmares has been a challenge. The phrases "You get what you pay for" and "Pay now or pay more later" are a few of the terms employed throughout this book. While it may require a greater upfront investment, it will ultimately save tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of dollars, time, and emotional distress. This book will provide guidance to avoid all the issues associated with a successful home build from a residential designer’s perspective
